Zena Taher Obituary, Death – Two persons were discovered dead on Ponderosa Drive in Romeoville on Thursday. Their identities have been confirmed by the Will County Coroner’s Office.
According to Romeoville Police, the fatalities are thought to be “domestic related and there is no expected risk to the community.” Following a report of adults who were not responding, police were called and sent to the residence.
Zena Taher, 27, of Romeoville, who was declared dead at 2:47 on Thursday, was identified by the coroner’s office. She looked to have been shot, according to the coroner’s office. Firas Syriani, 33, of Romeoville, who was also declared dead at 2:47 on Thursday, was also recognised by the coroner’s office. Syriani also looks to have been shot, according to the coroner’s office.
The Romeoville Police Department is investigating the incident. Both autopsies took place on Friday. The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date pending police, autopsy, and toxicology reports.
