Zachary Polansky Obituary, Death – On May 1, 2023, Zachary H. Polansky, age 25, who was a resident of Lexington, Massachusetts, passed died unexpectedly, leaving behind a family that is now in mourning. Polansky was born to Hari M. and Susan R. (Vlamynck) Polansky in Lexington, Massachusetts. His mother’s maiden name was Vlamynck. He is the brother of Daniel Polansky and his wife Aleena, who reside in Woburn; Allison Muller, her husband John, and their children Lillian and Hailey, who reside in Burlington; and he is also the brother of Daniel Polansky’s wife. Furthermore, the nephew of Senator Pat Vlamynck of Vermont, Senator Jean Vlamynck of California, and Senator Lyn Shamban of Massachusetts.
Zach was well-known around the entire world in the communities that are dedicated to competitive computer programming and logic puzzles. After graduating from the University of Rochester in 2019, he started his professional life at Google, where he worked for a little while before moving on to his ideal job as a logic puzzle game creator for Thekla, Inc. His company was exceptional whether he was traveling with his family, engaging with friends, or playing in friendly competition with other players across a gaming board. His sharp wit and profound wisdom will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
On Saturday, May 6, from 9:30 am until 11 am, a visitation will take place immediately before to the funeral ceremony at the Douglass Funeral Home, which is situated in Lexington at 51 Worthen Rd. The funeral service will start at eleven in the morning. Attendance at this event is cordially requested from family members and close friends.
