William Rush Obituary, Death – William (Billy) Rush, formerly of 31 Termon Road, Boyle, County Roscommon, passed away on June 7, 2023, at the Plunkett Community Nursing Unit in Boyle. He was a resident of Boyle, County Roscommon. He called the town of Boyle in Roscommon County his home.

He passed away without any discomfort in the Plunkett Community Nursing Unit in Boyle, where the staff members provided wonderful care for him till the very end of his life. Before he passed away, his sisters Una and May, in addition to his brothers Martin and Johnnie, had all previously left this world. His dedicated niece Tina, his loving brother Michael, his sister-in-law Mary, his nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, as well as his relatives, neighbors, and other acquaintances, have all expressed their terrible sadness over his passing.

In addition, his nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces have all voiced their great sorrow. We have faith that the kind spirit he left behind will eventually be able to rest in peace. On Friday, June 9, between the hours of 5 and 7, the cremated ashes of William will be placed in an urn and set out in repose at the Mahons Funeral Home in Boyle.
A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Boyle on June 10 at eleven in the morning local time.
