Wendy attended Michael Power/St. Joe’s University, Wilfred Laurier University, and the University of Western Ontario for her education and earned degrees from all three institutions.

She worked for the DPCDSB as a teacher, consultant, and school librarian for a very successful 32-year career, during which she instilled in her students a love of books and reading as well as a lifelong commitment to lifelong learning. Even when she retired, Wendy never stopped indulging her deep-seated desire to play board games and card games. She was a Bronze Life Master Bridge player, and her friends in the MOBridge Club are going to miss having a companion who played bridge with them. Due to her extraordinary level of expertise, only a select group of individuals were capable of defeating her in contests of trivial knowledge.

In addition to this, she continued her voyaging and cruising excursions, during which time she went to a number of different countries all over the world. She had a wonderful group of friends who all resided in Lowville and are going to miss her terribly. She will be greatly missed by all of them. Because Wendy’s friends Linda Guidoni and Marrey Prajza gave her additional love, support, and care while she was unwell, Wendy’s family will never be able to say enough thanks to her friends. This is because Wendy’s illness required additional love, support, and care. In the new year, there will be a get-together to commemorate the life of the person who passed away.
