Trever J. Oliver Obituary, Death – According to the Madison County Coroner Stephen P. Nonn, the corpse of a man was located submerged in Wood River stream near to the intersection of the stream and East Broadway in Alton. He reported that around 6:05 p.m. on Friday, officials got a 911 call reporting the event. The body of the man was discovered close to the confluence of the stream and East Broadway.

The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old South Roxana resident Trever J. Oliver. According to Nonn, the authorities who responded found the man lying on his back with his head submerged in water when they found him. According to Nonn, Oliver was apparently in the area when he passed away. This information comes from Oliver.

Investigator Christopher Hartman from the Madison County Coroner’s Office was taken into custody by Alton police when he arrived at the scene. They held him there until he could be pulled to shore and pronounced dead at 6:44 p.m. According to Nonn, an autopsy was undertaken in order to ascertain the cause and manner of death, and the early findings of the autopsy showed no overt indicators of criminal involvement.

Nonn claims this because the autopsy was performed to determine the reason and manner of death. Both the findings of the routine toxicological tests and the conclusive analysis of the cause of death have not yet been made public at this time.

Both the Alton Police Department and the Madison County Coroner’s Office are continuing their investigations into the incident at this time. The funeral preparations with the Gray Funeral Home in Wood River, Alaska, are still in the process of being finalized.
