Terry Musick Obituary, Death – Terry J. “Bozie” Musick, 77 years old, a loyal and lifetime resident of Star City, passed away at the Morgantown Healthcare Center on Sunday afternoon, May 28, 2023. He was the only child of Steve Musick, who passed away, and Rose Straface Musick, who also passed away, and he was born in Morgantown on October 25, 1945.
Terry is survived by two children, Ron Musick and his wife Judy of Huntington, West Virginia, and Laura Williams and her husband Bob of Star City; three grandchildren, Ali Via and husband Jacob of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ronnie Musick and wife Katelyn of Pennsville, New Jersey, and Owen Williams of Star City; two great-grandchildren, Weller Via and Easton Musick; and many members of Terry’s extended family. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Terry Musick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the woman he had been married to for 47 years, Virginia Marie Musick. She passed away precisely seven years to the day before he did. After graduating from St. Francis High School, Bozie went on to have a career that spanned over 40 years and culminated in him holding the position of Sanitation Supervisor for the Town of Star City.
He enjoyed going to the lottery, making friends with the dogs in the neighborhood along his route, making other people laugh with his fantastic sense of humor, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and other members of his family. Always cheerful and in a good mood, Bozie never lost her infectious smile. On Friday, June 2nd, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, friends are welcome to join the family in celebrating Terry’s life and paying tribute to his legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, located at 108 Holland Ave., Westover / Morgantown.
As per Bozie’s instructions, there will be no funeral service, and his body will be cremated after the visitation has concluded.
