Sullivan Joseph Obituary, Death – John (Jack) Joseph SULLIVAN, died unexpectedly on May 29, 2023, at the age of 79.
beloved partner of Faye Loved grandfather of Maddi, Anna, Emily, William, and Annabel. Dearly loved father and father-in-law to Jodi and John, Tom and Sally, and Adam and Sarah.
The funeral service for Jack, may he rest in peace, will be held at the Catholic Church of St. Thomas More, 8 Coombe Terrace, Waikerie, on Friday, June 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. This service will be followed by a private cremation. Joe grew up in the Forest Manor neighborhood of Indianapolis at St. Andrew the Apostle catholic school. He grew up playing baseball and had exceptional talent as a baseball pitcher.
He was also introduced to golf with his father. He started his career in golf playing in junior tournaments around the state and caddying at the Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis on Kessler Boulevard. He then worked for his Uncle Mike Sullivan, the golf pro at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Working out at Speedway was like being on the center stage of international racing and celebrities.
