Sue Nethers Obituary, Death –  Sue E. Nethers, 84, of Toboso, Ohio, died away quietly at The Inn at Sharon Brooke in Newark on June 8, 2023, on a Thursday morning. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur & Evelyn (Saunders) Street and was born on November 17, 1938, in Springfield, Ohio. She graduated from Hanover-Toboso High School in 1956. As a Quality Assurance Inspector for Diebold Inc., she retired. Sue has been a devout member of the Toboso United Methodist Church most recently.

She had served as the Worthy Matron of the Hanover Chapter #220 of the Ohio Eastern Star in the past. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the tour coordinator for multiple cross-country bus tours. She cherished spending time with her family more than she cherished camping, traveling, biking, or taking long walks.

She is survived by her four children, Natalie Nethers of Aurora, Colorado; Craig Nethers; Diana Nethers; Jennifer Flowers; and Travis (Melanie) Nethers, all of whom reside in the Licking Valley region. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Amanda, Nate, Rebekah, Adam, Kasey, Martha; Brooke; Chad; Tyler; Cole; Blake; Elizabeth; Vincent; and Sydney; as well as her sister, Janis (Robert) Sh

Her devoted husband of 59 years, Terry Nethers, who she married on July 27, 1957, a daughter-in-law named Bobbie Matthews, a brother-in-law named Melvin Nethers, a sister-in-law named Karen Nethers, as well as a close group of friends preceded her in death. Visitors are welcome to call from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the Vensil & Chute Funeral Home’s Frazeysburg Chapel, 110 West Third Street.
