
Steven Penick Obituary, Death – Alicia R. Wallace, 61 years old, a resident of Big Prairie, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 27, 2023, in Big Prairie. She was born in Wooster, Ohio on December 28th, 1961 to parents named Charles C. and Neva C. (Hartsough) Rutt, and she spent much of her childhood in the Fredericksburg area.
In 1980, she received her diploma from Waynedale High School in Apple Creek, Washington. On June 11, 1983 in Orrville, they had their wedding. The bride was Richard L. Wallace. He survives. Since the year 1980, she has worked for a number of financial institutions in the surrounding area, the most recent of which was The Commercial & Savings Bank in Wooster.
Canaan Lutheran Church in Creston was her present place of worship, but she had previously been a member of East Union Lutheran Church, which is located in Wooster. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano, and she encouraged others to do the same within the congregation of her church community. Alicia was also devoted to serving her community in a variety of positions, including working for United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties for a number of years and Kiwanis for a significant amount of time.
She is survived by her cherished husband of forty years, as well as her children Zachary (Morgan Chapman) Wallace of Killbuck, Ohio, Spenser (Courtney Humrichouser) Wallace of Big Prairie, Ohio, and Charlsey (Benjamin) Callender of Wooster, Ohio; her grandchildren Charles, Nicholas, Eleanor, Austyn, Josephyne, Rosalie, and Richard; her sister Valerie (Bob) Jordan of Burbank
