Steven Karashik Obituary, Death – Connecticut Steven Karashik, 63 years old at the time of his death on June 3, 2023, passed away. He was a resident of Ridgefield, Connecticut, for a total of 27 years. Steven spent his childhood at North Miami Beach, located in Florida. After graduating from the University of Florida in 1981 and beginning a career in nursing, he returned to school and received a doctoral degree in psychology in 1995.
In addition to his wife Anna and their children Matthew, Adam, and Robyn, Steven is survived by his mother Thelma, brother Jeffrey (Pam), and nephew Jeremy. His children were named after him. Steven’s career as a clinical psychologist took him to Ridgefield and Danbury between the years 1998 and 2022. He devoted every moment of his life to assisting other people.
His pride and joy were his three children as well as their successes in life, whether they came from the classroom, the playing field, or the job. Steven had a deep affection for animals and volunteered his time to assist a large number of dogs at shelters. On June 11th, 2023, beginning at 10:15 a.m., the Kane Funeral Home in Ridgefield, which is located at 25 Catoonah Street, will be open to receive those who wish to pay their respects. After that, at eleven in the morning, Rabbi Jon Haddon will preside over a memorial ceremony.
