Salem Motorcycle Accident, Police Investigating Fatal Car Crash

Salem Motorcycle Accident – The rider of a motorbike was killed in a collision with another car that took place on Monday evening on Interstate 40. The incident involved the motorcycle and the other vehicle. There was also a second vehicle that became engaged in the crash. It was determined that officers from the Hermitage precinct of the Metro police department worked the site of the accident that took place in the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 near to the mile marker 216 of the Briley Parkway.

The accident was investigated by the Metro police department. The Metropolitan Police Department’s Hermitage precinct was the source of this information, which was provided to us. The Tennessee Department of Transportation reported that the northbound exit ramp for Briley Parkway was closed at the time of the accident, and they gave a warning to drivers that they would need to travel an other route as a result of the accident. In addition, the Tennessee Department of Transportation noted that they issued a notice to drivers that they would need to travel an alternative route. The collision occurred on Briley Parkway, as the location suggests.
