Ryan Fountain Obituary, Death –
Ryan Fountain lost away tragically, leaving his family horrified and inconsolable at the news of his passing. With the passing of our friend, comrade, and member of the Bears family, Ryan Fountain, the fires at Bears are blazing less brightly. Ryan played a significant role in the @bearssmokehouse household. He was always willing to help out, took delight in and ownership of the smoker team in Windsor, and smoked well over a million pounds of beef during his time with us. He will be terribly missed.
You can relax knowing that we are keeping watch and that we will keep the smokers lit. Fair breezes and following seas. My brother in the smoke, rest in peace. The Big E, if you’ve ever had Bear’s BBQ during a Yard Goats game There’s a decent chance that you’ve eaten BBQ that Ryan prepared at The Big E, our South Windsor site, or any number of other public and private food trucks. Bear’s definition of Ryan was spot on. His pride, moral character, and reliability were unrivaled. Ryan always followed the rules, even if it meant having to put in extra effort. The memorial service will be held today from 2-4 p.m. at our Windsor location in the back parking lot. Please come by and pay your respects if you knew Ryan.
