Robert Michael Wilhelm Obituary, Death – On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in the 66th year of his life, Robert Michael Wilhelm, who resided in Listowel, passed away unexpectedly. Henry Wilhelm is the husband of Anna (Bratziw) Wilhelm. He is the father of Joshua and Katrina Wilhelm of Mindemoya as well as Stephanie and Luke Siertsema who live in Blyth. Russell is the brother of Linda and Bob Russell, who reside in Sauble Beach.
His parents Arthur and Eileen (Otto) Wilhelm, as well as his brother Larry Wilhelm and his wife Donna, passed away before he was born. Rob was born on January 7th, 1958, in the city of Kitchener. On October 21, 1989, he wed Anna Bratziw, and their love for one another was profound. He had two wonderful children named Joshua and Stephanie, both of whom he adored and of whom he was extremely proud.
The affection that Rob felt for the outdoors and for animals was contagious, and he passed it on to his offspring. Fishing, spending time with his family at Sauble Beach, and playing cards were three of his favorite things to do in his spare time. Rob was a man of few words, yet every word he did say came straight from the bottom of his heart. He had an incredible amount of patience and was extremely generous, compassionate, and kind.
He was also a man of profound religion, and he prayed continually for the welfare of others. We take solace in the knowledge that Rob is at rest in the company of Jesus Christ, whom he acknowledges as his Lord and Savior. The Eaton Funeral Home in Listowel is in the process of making funeral arrangements, and those plans will be announced as soon as they are ready. Listowel’s Fairview Cemetery was chosen as the location for the burial. Donations in memory of the deceased may be made to Sanctuary’s Mental Health Ministries.
