Robert (Bob) Traulsen Obituary, Death – Since Mr. Robert (Bob) Traulsen (1943-2023) passed away on April 23, the entire Tech family has been left in a state of great loss at his death. Mr. Traulsen served as a faculty member at Tech from 1993 until 2023. Beginning in 1993 and continuing until 2023, Mr. Traulsen was a member of the Tech faculty. Since 1943 until 2023, Mr. Traulsen has been employed with Tech in several capacities.
His tenure with the company spans the years 1943–2023. Bob, who graduated with a degree from Virginia Tech in 1961 and went on to work there as a teacher for a significant amount of time, never really left the university after he obtained his degree from there. He worked there as a teacher for a significant amount of time. He spent a considerable portion of his career there in the capacity of an instructor.
Bob was well known on campus right up until the time of his retirement in 2011, when he eventually departed his work there. In 2011, Bob quit his position at the university. During the previous school year, Bob was extended an invitation by Father Felix Penna to work as an assistant in the Manufacturing Technology laboratory. Even after Bob had reached the age at which he was entitled to retire, he remained to be an active member of the community on the campus.
In fact, Bob’s participation in campus life even increased at this time. Bob had just recently received his degree from the college he had attended and had just lately become a graduate of. In addition to that, in addition to working for the Department of Defense of the United States, he also worked as a lecturer for a variety of different industrial companies. This was in addition to the previous point. During this trying time, we ask that you join us in praying for Bob’s wife Sharon and his grown children, and that you continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers. We also ask that you continue to join us in praying for them. We also ask that you keep praying for them as they go through this difficult time. Bob died away not too long ago, and he had been a longtime resident of La Mirada. He is survived by his wife and the three grown children they had together. We will miss you, Mr. Traulsen!
