Peter Sikorski Chicago IL, Peter has Passed Away, Obituary Press And Cause Of Death

Peter Sikorski Obituary, Death – On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at the age of 69, Peter Joseph Sikorski passed away in an unexpected manner. Peter was the son of Casmer J. Sikorski and Frances (Bella) Sikorski, both of whom passed away before Peter’s birth on December 15, 1950 in Stevens Point. In 1969, he received his high school diploma from PJ Jacobs, and the following year, he attended Midstate Technical College and finished an electrical apprenticeship. Peter spent his childhood in Polonia, Illinois, where he helped out on the farm the family owned and also assisted with his father’s electrical business.

This ingrained in him a resourceful mindset throughout his life and made him a “Jack of all trades,” which served him well as he went on to manage irrigation line installations across the United States and own his own electrical contracting business. He enjoyed getting out of the city and seeing new regions of the country, as well as making new friends. He was also someone who was always up for telling a story or two, or even more! Peter was a firm believer in maintaining an attitude of perpetual curiosity and education. He delighted in acquiring knowledge on a broad range of subjects, ranging from mechanics to history. People will remember him for his quick wit, his infectious laughter, and the fact that he was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Peter’s daughters, Courtney (Brian Brown) Sikorski of Madison and Ashley (Alex Jaramillo) of Plainfield, as well as his grandchildren, Daniel, Ana, Sawyer, and Porsha, survive him. In addition, he is survived by his brother, David “Sandy” Sikorski, who resides in Mosinee. Both of his parents and his brother, Casmer Jr. Sikorski, had passed away before him. On Thursday, July 30th, the family will be present at the Shuda Funeral Home, located at 3200 Stanley Street in Stevens Point, to greet visitors from 11 am to 1 pm. After that, there will be a service at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church parish cemetery in Polonia for members of the immediate family and close friends. The Reverend Alan Guanella will preside over the ceremony.
