Pete McEwan Obtuary, Death – I’m going to push through the overwhelming sense of loss that I’m having right now in order to complete writing this piece, despite the fact that it’s been weighing heavily on my mind. After putting up the best fight he could against cancer, which was the one fight he just couldn’t win no matter how hard he fought, our father, Pete McEwan, died away quietly at 1:50 in the morning.
He had been fighting the disease for the past many years. It didn’t matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t beat cancer despite all of his efforts. The cancer, however, persisted in spreading to other parts of the man’s body in spite of the man’s best attempts. He fought cancer with everything he had, but ultimately, it was the one battle he was unable to win. Despite his best efforts, he passed away from the disease.
The news has a direct impact on our situation, and as a result, we are feeling an overwhelming and pervasive sense of hopelessness. I will provide an update about the funeral arrangements as soon as everything has been taken care of, and anyone who knew him is strongly invited to pay their respects in person.
