Patricia Langley Obituary, Death –  Patricia Langley, who had reached the age of 72 and had been a native of Yazoo City, Mississippi, passed away on June 7, 2023 within the confines of her own home. Before she was born on August 4, 1950 in Carroll County, her parents, Elmer and Willie Mae Price Wilson, as well as her daughter, Leah Carmen Langley, all perished away.

She was affectionately referred to as “Pat” by both her family and her friends. Pat was a longtime educator and a homemaker in addition to being a member of the First Baptist Church in Yazoo City. She was a member of the church for many years. Pat also gave up her job as a teacher and left the profession.

Pat is survived by her husband, Michael Langley; son, Michael (Claire) Langley of Brandon, Mississippi; grandson, Wilson Henry Langley; brother, Steve Adams (Margaret) of N. Carrollton, Mississippi; sister, Jan (T.J.) Nabors of N. Carrollton, Mississippi; and special family member, Willie Ann Howard of N. Carrollton, Mississippi. Willie Ann Howard is also from N. Carrollton, Mississippi. Willie Ann Howard, a cherished family member, is also one of Pat’s surviving relatives.

Services are going to be held on June 10th, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Yazoo City. This place has been selected for this purpose. The viewing will begin at 9:30 in the morning and continue until 11:00 in the morning, and the funeral services will start at 11:00 in the morning. The interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Carrollton, Mississippi, at three o’clock in the afternoon immediately following the funeral. Kyle Adams, Ganes Bankston, Gary Bankston, Jr., J. Langley, Tim Beard, and John Phillip Damiens have all volunteered to carry the casket during the funeral service.
