Mike Trace Obituary, Death – We regret to inform you that Mike Trace has joined the group of people we will only remember in remembrance. Mike used to regularly attend cons and was a fixture in the dealer’s room until a stroke seven years ago prevented him from doing so. He was well-liked by the con and a lot of the guests. We want to send his friends and family our sincere sympathies.
He graduated from Hammond High School and continued his education at Delgado College in New Orleans. Michael, known to most as Mike, moved to Welsh and made it his home. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed to hunt and fish. Most of all, Michael was known as a “family man” and loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Michael is survived by three children, his daughters, Angelina Trace Westbrook and her husband, Nicholas and Karissa Bunch, all of Rice, TX and his only son, Evan Michael Trace and his wife, Brittany of Alma, TX; his mother, Lana Pontiff Kern and her husband, Timothy of Welsh; three brothers, Daniel Trace and his wife, Tessa, Christopher Trace and his wife, Denise, all of Houston, TX and Bryan Trace of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Aleia Flores, Wade Westbrook and Kenzley and Kason Parker and numerous dear nieces, nephews and friends.
