Michael Sweeney Obituary, Death – Michael Thomas Sweeney, who had reached the age of 70 at the time of his dying on May 15, 2023, was no longer with us. He had passed away. He is the cherished father of Mary Sweeney, Tom Sweeney (Claudia), Mike Sweeney (Carina), and Caroline Kamenash (Aaron), who is married to Aaron Kamenash. Katie Sweeney’s cherished former spouse who afterwards went on to marry someone else. Brother to Kathleen, Kevin, Patrick, Sharon, and Shaun (Kim) Sweeney, in addition to Eileen (Don) Goodman, Bridget (Chip) Glaescher, and Megan (John) Groene.

Kind and loving. Beloved son of Mary Joan Sweeney and Tom Sweeney, who unfortunately lost away. Uncle to his 32 nieces and nephews, all of whom hold him in high regard and affection. Both Cardinal Pacelli Elementary School and St. Xavier High School are located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mike earned his elementary education at Cardinal Pacelli and his high school education at St. Xavier. For his accomplishments in football, he was recognized as a Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star.

Mike followed in the footsteps of his father and the rest of his family by working in the automobile sector for the majority of his more than 40 years of professional life. Mike was the kind of person that could get along with anyone, and he was almost always surrounded by his family, friends, and coworkers. The funeral service, known as a Mass of Christian Burial, will begin at 11 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, May 20, and will take place at St. Vincent Ferrer Church.

Visitation will take place in the church beginning at 8 o’clock in the morning, followed by the funeral ceremony at 10 o’clock.
