Max Aubel Obituary, Death, Max Aubel Has Unexpectedly Passed Away

Max Aubel Obituary, Death – After a valiant fight with cancer, Mr. Max Aubel of Addieville, Illinois passed away on June 6, 2023 at 1:33 A.M. at home in the company of his devoted family. He was now 23 years, 10 months, and 27 days old. Max was born on July 9, 1999, in Breese, Illinois, to Bryan and Patty (née Urban) Aubel. On Saturday, June 3, with family and friends present to commemorate the couple’s special day, he married Hannah Harris at his home. Max graduated from Okawville High School in 2017.

He participated in Track, Model UN, and Drama Club while he was a high school student. He also held positions on the Student Leadership Team and Student Council. Max Prior to accepting the call to come to the west and serve the congregation at the Longmont Church of Christ in Longmont, CO, Max was the minister at the Griffithville Church of Christ in Griffithville, AR. Max spent a brief period serving the church in Colorado before receiving his diagnosis and returning to Addieville to start his battle.

He went to the Centralia Church of Christ in Centralia, Illinois, after getting back home. Many people found inspiration in Max’s religion and sense of calling to serve the Lord. Max loved being outside and going duck and turkey hunting as well as trout fishing. He taught Bible studies and was an ardent student of the Bible. He really enjoyed spending time with his brother Will to watch Family Guy, having lunch with Grandma Barb and PaPa Larry at Fuehne’s, going hunting with Grandpa Dave, and drinking MawMaw Jo Ann’s sweet tea.
