Matthew Boone Obituary, Death, Dunn NC, Funeral Details

Matthew Boone Obituary, Death – Mathew Boone, the interim city manager for Dunn, unexpectedly suffered a heart attack on Wednesday night, which caused him to pass suddenly at his home. He had reached the age of forty. Following his departure early on Thursday morning, there was a widespread outpouring of grief throughout the community. Lauren Quann, Merissa Stroud, and Mason Stroud; parents Ross and Joy Boone; sister Renee (Barry) Hynes; nephew Dylan (Robyn) Boone; nieces Faith (Tony Waterman) Hynes; great-nephews Grayson Kelly and Ryder Boone; great-niece Sophia Waterman-Hynes; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members, as well as numerous friends.

He just finished a piece of writing for a school project that was intended for youngsters and received a perfect score of 100. Both working with wood and playing video games were hobbies that Matt enjoyed. Because his great-grandfather had been in the military during World War II, he had an overwhelming desire to follow in his great-grandfather’s footsteps and join the Marines himself. He never missed an opportunity to thank a veteran for their service or to question them about their experiences during their time in the armed forces.

He was a young man who possessed an enormous amount of respect and civility for all current and former members of the military forces and veterans. Matt was the kind of person who was generous to everyone else in his immediate environment and who never turned down the opportunity to make new acquaintances. Matthew’s grandfather Ford Brent and grandmother Ruth Brent, as well as his grandmother Nelson and grandfather Dulcie Boone, both went away before Matthew was born.
