Mathew Scott Boone Obituary, Death – Mathew Scott Boone, age 40, a citizen of Knightdale, North Carolina, passed away suddenly on June 7th, 2023. On February 14, 1983, his doting parents, Daniel Edward Boone and Cristy Willingham Boone, gave birth to him in Wake County. Taylor Boone’s older brother, Mathew Boone, served as a model for the family as well as for life in general.
Mathew attended North Wesleyan University for his legal education and graduated with a degree in law. When Mathew entered a room, it was immediately illuminated by his infectiously joyful laugh and stunning grin. He enjoyed going to concerts, going to the beaches of North and South Carolina, and beating his friends and family at the game cornhole. Mathew was always there when there was a party going on.
His motivation and determination were unrivaled, and he made steady progress while positively affecting the development of each and every community. He was always working to improve both himself and those around him. When he passed away, he was serving as the city manager of Dunn. His presence was always welcomed in Raleigh and Dunn, and he will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him there.
He was the epitome of a good father. Everyone had a lot of affection for Matthew. If he touched your life, he undoubtedly did so in a positive way. At four o’clock on the afternoon of Sunday, June 11, 2023, a memorial service will take conducted at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, which is located at 944 Old Knight Road in Knightdale.
Following the service, the family will have a reception at the funeral home for close friends and relatives.
