Lynn Gaylord Obituary, Death – As many of you are aware, right around the time that we were making preparations to spend Thanksgiving in 2016, we received the tragic news that Lynn Gaylord had been diagnosed with lung cancer that was in its terminal stages. This news came just as we were getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving.
She has been fighting valiantly while keeping the upbeat and positive attitude that has become her trademark over the course of the previous six months. She has been concerned more about the effects the disease will have on the people who are important to her than she has been about the effects the illness would have on herself. She left this world on the 29th of May at approximately 4:30 p.m., surrounded by her loved ones in a serene and peaceful setting before she went to be with the Lord.
We will never forget her love, humor, abilities, and the one-of-a-kind wisdom and spirit that she possessed; yet, we are aware that it was a great blessing for us to have been able to spend as much time with her as we did. She made the most of every chance that was presented to her and lived each second of her life to the fullest possible extent.
After her family and her friends, she found that going on adventures brought her the second greatest amount of joy in her life. Moreover, during the course of her travels, she went to a significant portion of the nations located on each continent. She was successful in achieving her goals, and she has left an enduring legacy in the lives of the many others whose lives she has impacted. Everyone will grievously miss having her around.
