Lorne Lakusta Obituary, Death –Lorne Lakusta, who was 56 years old when he passed away, was a resident of Andrew, Alberta. He was a beloved family member in all three roles of husband, father, and Gido in his home. We break the news of his passing with extremely heavy hearts since we will miss him greatly.

Lorne is survived by his beloved family, which includes his wife of 34 years, Effie; his son Lyle and daughter Larissa (Matthew) MacIsaac; and his cherished granddaughter Loclynn Lauren. Effie is the only member of the family to survive Lorne. He was married to Effie for a total of 34 years. After he goes away, he will be much missed by his large family, his friends, and the many people whose lives he improved over the course of his existence.

Before he was born, both of his parents, Sylvester and Margaret Lakusta, had passed away. He was their only child.
The funeral service for the deceased person will take place at the Andrew Community Centre on Monday, June 5th, 2023, at 10:30 in the morning. The date and time are subject to change. After the burial service, the deceased’s body will be laid to rest in the St. John Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery in Sachava during a private interment service for the family. Donations made in the honor of the person who passed away can be given to “Canadian Charolais Youth Association – c/o 2320-41 Ave. NE., Calgary, AB, T2E 6W8.” In place of flowers, these can be delivered to the recipient.
