Leif Terence Obituary, Death – We regret to inform you that Mr. Leif Terence Harrison, who was born on September 16, 1951 and passed away on June 1, 2023, has passed away. Over the past six years, Leif has been a contributing member of the Clubhouse. This was written by his sister, Candy, and it is as follows: Longtime resident of Gibsons, with the most of recent years spent living on Boot Hill. His parents, John and Ruth Harrison, as well as his wife, Lyn, passed away before he did.
His son Warren Saul, his six grandkids, his brother Greg Harrison (Darcy), his sisters Candy Harrison and Loretta Macklam (Mike), as well as his eight nephews and one niece, all grieve deeply over his passing.
When Leif was younger, he worked in the logging industry as a riggin’ slinger and choakerman, and during the off seasons, he drove a cab. Leif eventually earned his certification as a refrigeration repairman and began working in the field.
Despite having survived the pandemic and having received all of the recommended vaccinations, he miraculously recovered from two strokes; however, liver cancer struck him with devastating force later in life. Within a few short months, both Leif and Loretta were taken away from us without any explanation.
I pray that God will give him peace. A special thank you to everyone who helped care for him. On the Monday, June 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., there will be a celebration of life as well as a reception conducted at St. Bart’s Church. Everyone is invited to come. May you finally find rest, Leif.
