Konstantinos Georgiou Obituary, Death – “For You are the Resurrection, the Life, and the Repose of our departed brother, Konstantinos, O Christ our God, and to You we send up the Glory as to Your Father Who is from Everlasting, and Your All-Holy, Good, and Life-Giving Spirit, now and forever, and unto the ages of ages.” “For You are the Resurrection, the Life, and the Repose of our departed brother, Konstantinos.” Amen.
We want you to know that our dearly loved brother in Christ, Konstantinos “Dino” Georgiou, who was 45 years old, went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2023. We tell you this not only with sorrow but also with hope in the Resurrection. Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral will be the location of the funeral ceremonies that will take place on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
The family will hold a gathering at the church for loved ones, friends, and acquaintances one hour before the service. After the service, interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Dino’s parents, Nick and Margaret Georgiou, as well as his brothers, Bill Georgiou and Jimmy Georgiou/Antritsogiannis, nephew, Lambros Antritsogiannis, and nieces, Athena Georgiou and Harekla Antritsogiannis, are among those who will miss him after his passing.
His godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and acquaintances are also still living. His great-grandparents, Vasilios and Theodosia Georgiou, as well as his aunts Elpida Papadimitriou and Ekaterina Georgiou, as well as his uncles Stavros Papadimitriou, Ioannis Georgiou, and George Nikopoulos, all passed away before him.
Please join us in prayer for the repose of Dino’s soul, that he may dwell among the Spirits of the Righteous made perfect in faith and abide forever in the glorious light of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the embrace of God the Father, and the bliss of the Holy Spirit. Memorials may be offered in his memory to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral Foundation, 600 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203 or Panagia Prousiotissa Chapel at Elatos Park.
