Her obituary and the date of her memorial ceremony are included below. On June 1, 2023, Kaitlyn Ashley Thomas passed away suddenly at her Noblesville apartment. She had a 27-year-old age. She was born on May 21, 1996, to still-living parents Matthew and Stacey (Wildermuth) Thomas.
Her son Hunter Cole Thomas, sister Kelsie Anne Thomas of Bloomington, brother Trenton Stephen Thomas of Carmel, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins, survive her as well. Both her maternal and paternal grandparents died before her.
Kaitlyn was a charming, sociable woman with a contagious attitude. She was intelligent, artistic, enjoyed having fun, and laughed contagiously. She and her family have a deep love for one another.
After completing her senior year at Westfield High School in 2014, Kaitlyn enrolled at Indiana University Kokomo. With aspirations of becoming a nurse, Kaitlyn decided to become a certified nursing assistant. She worked in a number of nursing facilities because she loved caring for elderly, experienced people—and they loved her too. The love of her life, Hunter Cole Thomas, was born on February 26, 2017. She frequently proclaimed Hunter to be her heart and promised to be his protector angel. Hunter, who is now 6 years old, adored his mother.
