Judy Nielsen Obituary, Judy K. Nielsen has died

Judy Nielsen Obituary, Death – On June 9, 2023, Judy K. (McEnroe/Pugh) Nielsen passed away at the age of 89. Her final desires were to have a private service with no visitation, and her corpse will be cremated after the service is over. She asked for her ashes and those of her husband to be scattered on the Family Century Farm Land in Kossuth County, close to Algona. This is the same land that her mother’s ashes were scattered on.

On July 8, 1933, Judy Pugh joined her parents, Lyle Elizabeth (McEnroe) Pugh and William Pugh, in the world in Algona, Iowa. Following the divorce of her parents, she lived with her mother in Algona, Seattle, Denver, and Chicago respectively. After completing her high school education in Algona in 1952, she relocated once more to Chicago in order to enroll in the Patricia Stevens Modeling School.

After that, she found work in Chicago and did some modeling before being married to the man who would become the love of her life, Darrell Virgil Nielsen, who was originally from LuVerne, Iowa. The couple had their wedding in Chicago before moving to Mason City, where they brought up their three children together with the help of her husband. Her daughter, Kristy Corl, her daughter, Julie Langhoff Ebeling and boyfriend Kurt Lichty, her son, James Nielsen, and his wife, Deborah, are the only members of her family left. They will always treasure their memories of Judy.

Jacob Langhoff, Sara Peterson and her husband Kyle, Tamie Ames and her husband Monte, Eric Burgher, Sarah SuMarzio and her wife Julie, Amy May, Ricky Ludwig and his wife Aimee, Jamie Sowers and her husband Albert are all examples of grandchildren. Anna, Ryen, Emerson, Ava, Brynn, Leo, Mikayla, Kaiden, and Emma are the Great Grandchildren of this family, and Harrison will be joining them soon. And a great number of Treasured Friends.
