Jonathan Nyce Obituary, Death – On February 17, 2018, Collegeville resident Jonathan Nyce, Jr., 93, passed away unexpectedly. He was a World War II veteran of the Navy who served in the Pacific Theater on the William R. Rush Destroyer and a crash boat. He was the son of Jonathan and Florence (Koschorreck) Nyce and was born on February 7, 1925. Raymond, Robert, and the late Florence Knoble’s brother.

Jonathan had a private pilot’s license, was a Boy Scout and Explorer Leader, loved tennis and dancing, and had spent many years working as a machinist for Welding Engineers. For 69 years, Jonathan was devoted to Emma R. (née Dusza). Father to Richard J. (Denise), David S. (Gwen), Michael W. (Candy), and Dr. Jonathan W. Nyce. Dear brother of Deborah Nyce and Rebecca Schilgel.

He is survived by 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren are also left to take care of. Jonathan was always a family man, and his family has been his main interest for his entire life.
