James Rayl Obituary, Death – James “Jim” Lee Rayl, who had been born in Broken Arrow and had reached the age of 81 when he passed away on May 23, 2023, was precisely ten days old when he reached that milestone age. Jim Rayl came into the world and joined his parents, Harold Lee and Mary Susan (Hooton) Rayl, on May 13, 1942 in the city of Steubenville, which is located in the state of Ohio. He graduated from Steubenville High School and has been present for the majority of his class reunions, if not all of them, over the course of the years since he graduated.
Jim had his first job after graduating high school at a bank in Washington, District of Columbia. It was there that he met the woman he would later marry, Bonnie Beatrice Pack, who sadly passed away. After that, he made a career change and started working for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, better known as MetLife. He was employed there for nearly 40 years until calling it quits and retiring. Cleveland, Ohio, was not only the place where he started his profession as an auditor but also the location where both of his children, Brian and Cyndi, were born.
In the course of time, he worked his way up the corporate ladder, eventually becoming the Director of Procedural Development for the company, and finally constructing the first customer service call centre in the entirety of the corporation right here in Tulsa. Both of these accomplishments occurred over the course of time. Cleveland is the place of birth for both of his children, Brian and Cyndi. During the course of his job at MetLife, he developed strong friendships with a significant number of people who went on to become his confidants. These friendships have endured for a significant amount of time.
