Mr. Davis attended Hillsborough County public schools and belonged to Belmont Baptist Church. Mr. Davis was predeceased by his father James Davis, his lovely daughter Lecretia Gaynor, his lovely sisters Lisa Davis and Jacqueline Thomas, his lovely niece Tameka Campbell, his great niece Larnquavia Terrell, and a large number of other loved ones.
James leaves behind his devoted mother Catherine Davis, his lone child Marquise Davis, Sr. (Johnny Boy), and many fond memories. Marquise Davis, Jr. (Fatman) and Symaria Davis (Blueberry), two grandchildren; 5 aunts: Lucy Denard, Diana Tilman, Annette Bletcher, Dorothy Bryant, and Janice Slater; 3 brothers: Ezzard Clark, Larry Clark, and Allen Davis.
