Inuka Gunathilaka Missing – When the family of a missing teen from Fort Richmond reported finding a body, the search was called off. On Wednesday morning, the Winnipeg police contacted Sethumi Gunathilaka to tell her that they had found a body that they believe to be her brother, Inuka Gunathilaka. The last time anyone saw or heard from 15-year-old Inuka was on May 24. She said the hunt was put on hold as the family awaited the outcome of the autopsy.
When asked if a body had been found, the Winnipeg Police Service remained silent. There is no way for us to (confirm this). As West Palm Beach Police Department Constable Claude Chancy put it, “We are currently speaking with the missing person’s unit, so we have no additional information to provide at this time.” Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old kid who has been missing since last Wednesday. Inuka Gunathilaka, the missing individual in question, was last seen in the Fort Richmond area early on (date).
According to the available information, Inuka is a male character with a medium build and an average height (about six feet). His hair is short and dark, and he constantly seems to be on glasses. A blue pullover, matching pants, and black shoes were on him when he vanished. The Missing Persons Unit of the Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) is appealing for the public’s help in locating Inuka. If you have any information that could help find him or if you have seen him, please call the WPS Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
