Glenda Faye Shirey Farrow Obituary, Death – Mrs. Glenda Faye Shirey Farrow, who was 73 years old at the time of her passing, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023 in Panama City, Florida. She was a native of Summerville, which is located in Georgia. On February 19, 1950, Mrs. Farrow made her debut into the world in Lima, Ohio. James Dover Bailey and Mary Dover Bailey, her parents, have both left this world since she was born.
She was a devout member of the Berryton Church of God and attended services there frequently. In her spare time, she looked forward to spending time caring to her garden, going to the beach, and watching movies.
Both her sister Jane Love and her husband Billy W. Shirey passed away before she did. Her sister was the first to go. Her parents had also gone before her in death at this point.
Dena Wood, her daughter; Jimmy (Linda) Bailey, Patty Jennings, Marsha Noles, and Cheri Beene, her siblings; Chase Browning, Macy Browning, and Will Wood, her grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services commemorating the life of Mrs. Farrow will be held in the chapel of Mason Funeral Home on Monday, June 5, 2023 at noon. The Reverend Jason Lee will preside over the ceremony. Following the conclusion of the funeral services, the body will be taken to Oaknoll Memorial Gardens in Rome, Georgia, in order to be laid to rest there. The individuals who will act as pallbearers are as follows: Kenneth Shirey, Brooks Shirey, Mike Shireman, Leslie Smith, Greg Koonce, and Kenny Koonce.
On Monday, the family will begin to welcome friends at the funeral home at eleven in the morning and continue to do so up to the time of the service. The service will take place at one o’clock.
