He is survived by his sister Geraldine. He is survived by : his children, Carol Fonseca (Victor), Robert Thom (Susan), Barbara Mauer (Steven) and Kathleen Barrowman (John); and his grandchildren, Aaron Jones, Kevin Jones (Ericka), Sarah Dzambazi (Naim), Shelley Bigger (Larry), Kelley Pain (Jason), Bryan Mauer (Ashley), Matthew Mauer, Scott Mauer (Holly), Jennifer McCure (Scott), Nikki Harkabus (Brett) and Jeff Barrowman (Yessenia).

At 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023, the deceased will be laid to rest at the Braceville Gardner Cemetery, which is located at 7295 E Braceville Rd, Braceville, Illinois 60407. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent in the name of George to Lightways Hospice Care. These offerings will serve as gifts in George’s memory.
