Gabriel Glodenyte Obituary, Death – We were shocked to learn of the demise of Gabriel Glodenyte, who graduated with the class of 2016, and our hearts go out to his family and friends. The Glodenyte family and all of her friends are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. I pray that she finds eternal rest.

Gabriel will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Adele Drolet (Carl), Elise Charron (Marc), Charles Perron (Melissa), Danielle Taillefer (Cory), Martin Guillemette, Michelle Landry (Alain), Melissa Degagne, Jennifer Guillemette (Melissa), Garrett Guillemette, Gabrielle Martell (Benjamin), and 21 great-grandchildren. Gabriel also leaves behind 21 great-great grandchildren.

Rose-Anne Bilodeau (Giroux), the mother of his children; his daughter Lorraine; his son Luc (Louise); his granddaughter Melanie Martin (Clay); his parents Raphael and Anna (Menard); his sisters Noella Poitras (Louis), Marie-Ange Cardinal (Eddie), and Irene Hotte (Phillipe); and his brothers Norman, Gerald (Evelyn), Claude, Ronald (Sharon), and Eugene (Yvette).

Gabriel was well-known for his work as a finishing carpenter in the construction industry. He was a man of many talents and interests, but his biggest passion was fishing, particularly for salmon, trout, and pickerel. He was a very diverse individual. Even in the most isolated locations, he enjoyed being outside, going camping and fishing. On Friday, December 16, 2022, visitation will be conducted from 2 to 4 p.m.

and again from 7 to 9 p.m. at the McGuinty Funeral Home, which is located at 591 Cassells Street in North Bay. On the Saturday, December 17, 2022, a funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Thomas d’Aquin Church in Astorville. The service will begin at 10:30 in the morning. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations can be made here.
