Frank Thiessen Obituary, Death – We mourn the passing of Frank Thiessen, one of our cherished Irvine School students, with deep sadness and heavy hearts. Frank was a wonderful man who bravely battled cancer for a very long time. We send Frank’s family and friends our sincere condolences.
Frank had a significant impact on our school as an eighth grader. All of the faculty and students adored Frank because he always had a smile on his face, had a fantastic sense of humour, and loved to laugh. Frank was always kind and willing to provide a helping hand to anyone in need. He was incredibly good at getting along with people, especially his peers, teachers, and our younger pupils.
Frank was a well-rounded student who enjoyed playing basketball with his buddies, volleyball with the “A” boys’ volleyball team, and was an excellent all-around athlete. Frank had a creative side as well. He was a natural in food science and was busy stitching a quilt just before getting sick. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
