His death came as a surprise to all of us. Everyone here was taken completely by surprise when they told us he had passed away. He went away quietly in his sleep this afternoon, while his wife was in the delivery room giving birth to their newest child, Oren Curtis Brown.
He was surrounded by his family when he left this world. During the final moments of his life, loving ones from both of his families were there to care for him. To say that the state the world is in right now is discouraging would be an understatement. Ever since he left the United States of America a good number of years ago, he has made his home in the Philippines. He has lived there ever since.
He quickly rose to a position of prominence in their town as a direct result of their decision to offer Christmas dinners to others in their community who were having difficulties making ends meet. This decision helped those individuals in their community make ends meet. He had a profound love for his family both in that location and in the surrounding area, which he considered to be his own home.
I would like to ask you to pray for my mother, Claudia Tindall Brown, as well as for his wife, Jane Teesco, and for all of his children, Jenna Brown, Trey Brown, Crista Brown, Dalton Brown, Heyger Brown, and Oren Brown, who is the newest addition to their family.
