Flip Manne Obituary, LA Jazz Society Chairman has died

Flip Manne Obituary, Death – The fearless head of our organization, the chairman of the Los Angeles Jazz Society, a former Rockette who was devoted to horses, Flip Manne, passed away at the age of 102. She was known for her passion for horses. The Los Angeles Jazz Society counted her as a member at one point. We bring you this information with a sad heart, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you.

She left us alone while she slipped out the back door with a close friend holding her hand and listening to jazz on her way out of the house behind us. The fact that we were able to celebrate Mom’s birthday with her and be there to memorialize her for yet another year has provided a great deal of happiness to a large many of us. We were also able to be there to mark the occasion as we remembered her for yet another year.

She is thrilled to report that in the afterlife, she is reunited with her much-loved Shelly, and the news has made her extremely happy. When we eventually get our hands on the particulars of the arrangements that have been made for the finale of the concert, we will make them available to a more general audience. Any fresh information will, as soon as it is humanly possible to do so, be disseminated via the Eblast in addition to being posted across the board on all of our social media platforms. In this difficult time for our cherished and one-of-a-kind lady, we are overflowing with gratitude for each and every one of you for taking the time and making the effort to show your concern for her.
