
Felipe Sanchez Obituary, Death – We must break the news to you with heavy hearts that a member of our Wing family who was also a loved one has passed away. It is with regret that we share this news with you. Because we have a sense of responsibility to do so, we are informing you of this piece of information. First Lieutenant Felipe “Alex” Sanchez, who served with the 147th Security Forces Squadron, lost his brave battle against cancer early on Monday morning. Sanchez was a member of the United States Air Force.
When he passed away, he was surrounded by the people that meant the most to him, including his family and his closest friends. Up until the very last moment of the conflict, Lt. Sanchez exemplified the bravery and resolve that one would expect to see from an Air Force Defender.
After commencing his career in the military in 2010, when he was commissioned as a Lieutenant, he went on to serve his nation and state with distinction for a total of 13 years during his time spent in the military. During this time, he served his country for a total of 13 years.
During this time, he gave a combined total of 13 years of service to his country. During this difficult time, the personnel of the 147th Attack Wing would like to extend their condolences to Lt. Sanchez’s family as well as to the other military members who served beside him in the Security Forces.
