Evan Kiel Obituary, Death – We are overjoyed to tell you the news, but it comes with a heavy heart as we are devastated by the sudden and unexpected demise of our close friend Evan Van Dusen. Evan held several extra titles in addition to his well-loved roles as a father, son, grandchild, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend.
He was also an avid outdoorsman. As we continue to get countless emails from those who were acquainted with him, I’ve realized that his passing has created a significant void not only in our lives but also in yours. Since Evan passed away on May 30, 2023, we are in a deep state of sadness; however, he would want us to enjoy the amazing times in his life and make sure that his memory is kept, particularly with his son Koady, whom he adored and will always love without reservation.
We want to be able to remember Evan’s life in a way that is meaningful, therefore we have started this fundraising effort to pay for expenses associated with funeral charges, cremation services, memorial arrangements, and any other costs that may arise unexpectedly. Any funds that are surplus after these obligations will be contributed to Koady’s 529 college savings plan.
We realize that many of you had positive feelings for Evan, and that you would like to express your condolences and support for the family during this difficult time. Your contribution, no matter how small or large it may be, will help make a difference, and it will celebrate Evan’s life in a way that demonstrates the great heart he buried beneath the tough exterior he presented to the world.
In addition, it would be extremely helpful if you could tell anyone you know who may have known Evan about our effort. If you could do so, we would greatly appreciate it. It is possible that we will be able to reach a broader audience and continue Evan’s legacy if we accomplish this.
