Emily Zeiglerary Obituary, Death – Margaret Fisher has been identified as the victim who was found dead after being shot in the front yard of a home located in the 600 block of Pine Grove Road. Margaret Fisher is currently serving as the coroner for Lexington County. According to Fisher, Emily Renee Zeigler, 55 years old, was fatally shot and died on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Leesville neighborhood of Lexington County. The incident occurred in the area of Lexington County.
According to Fisher, the upper body wound that Zeigler received as a result of the shooting forced the responding deputies to declare him dead at the scene. Zeigler was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to Fisher, a second individual who knew Zeigler was also shot and transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries after sustaining life-threatening wounds.
Fisher also stated that this individual was sent to the hospital. Both the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office have stated that they are still conducting their investigation into the matter. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department (LCSD) is looking into a shooting that took someone’s life and is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
Deputies received a complaint early on Wednesday morning that a woman had been fatally shot in the front yard of a home in the 600 block of Pine Grove Road.
