Elmer Nixon Obituary, Death –  Elmer Nixon, who would one day become famous for his playing in the NBA as Norm Nixon, spent his entire life working as a CME. The 13th of January 1931 was the day he was born, and the 27th of May 2023 was the day he passed away. Funeral services for Elmer Nixon were performed on June 6, 2023 at the Damascus C.M.E. Church in Lizella, Georgia.

On that specific day, the services were carried out in their entirety. The funeral service was held at the Damascus C.M.E. Church, and the burial was performed in the cemetery that is adjacent to the church. The congregation’s current pastor is Dr. Cedric Allen, and he serves in this capacity. Elmer Nixon, who had lived in New Britain, Connecticut all of his life and had reached the age of 92 when he passed away on May 27, 2023, was surrounded by the people he loved as he took his last breath.
