Eamon McCrystal Obituary, Death – Yesterday, Eamon (Buffer) McCrystal, a resident of Lavey and Glasgow, passed away in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow after a brief fight with illness. He had been admitted to the hospital earlier this week. The members of POP would like to extend their condolences to Mr. McCrystal’s family and friends.
It was a delight to spend time in Eamon’s company because he was a real-life character who was lots of fun and went by the name Buffer, which was the name by which most people knew him. When anyone talked to Buffer, the subject of vehicles inevitably came up, since he had always been infatuated with them; he enjoyed working on them and being in the company of other people who did so; and he enjoyed being in the company of other people who did so.
When you first met Buffer, he would always welcome you with a big smile and was a lot of fun to be around. When you got to know him better, he became even more entertaining. During this challenging time, I would like to extend my most sincere condolences to his mother Maureen, his father Gerard (Gerry), his daughter Ava, his brothers Sean and Barry, his sister Maureen Quinn, his partner Carol, his nephews and nieces, as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as the rest of the McCrystal family.
