Dylan Dooling Obituary, Death –

At a Friday night house party, a teenager was fatally stabbed and celebrating their high school graduation.
The Turlock Police Department, Stanislaus State Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were called to a reported aggravated assault on June 2 at 10:46 p.m. at a home in Turlock’s 2800 block of Majestic Ct after a teen who had been stabbed and was lying on the ground without a pulse. When police arrived on the scene, Dylan Dooling, 17, of Turlock, had at least one stab wound.

He was found there on the northeast corner of Castleview Drive and N. Daubenberger Road. Prior to being relieved by firefighters and paramedics, officers started performing life-saving procedures on Dooling right away. American Medical Response transferred Dooling to a local hospital, accompanied by a firefighter for extra manpower. Unfortunately, despite best efforts, Dooling succumbed to his injuries at about 11:40pm. Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation. Through preliminary interviews with witnesses, detectives learned that Dooling had been at a house party at the previously mentioned residence on Majestic Court along with several of his friends and others celebrating their recent high school graduation.

As Dooling was leaving the party, he was confronted by a group of males down the street, a fight occurred, and he was stabbed. The group of males then fled the scene by unknown means. One of the original callers reported that they fled in a black sedan, however, that has yet to be confirmed. The males are suspected to either be White or Hispanic and in their late teens or early 20s. Investigators and victim advocates from the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office responded to the scene to offer their assistance. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information that could assist in it is encouraged to call Detective Francisco Navarro at 209-664-7319.
