Dryth Fulmer Death – Dryth R. Fulmer, a 23-year-old Batesburg resident, died in the accident, Coroner Darryl Ables said in a news release. The single-vehicle collision happened at about 1:30 p.m. on private property on Holder Road near Hadden Road in the Batesburg area of Aiken County, according to the release. However operatives are Investigating what lead to the Cause of the Fatal incident.
Fulmer died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident, and two other occupants in the ATV were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the release. Further information on the conditions of the passengers was not available. No other injuries were reported. There was no word if anyone involved in the crash was wearing safety gear. The collision continues to be investigated by the coroner’s office and Aiken County Sheriff’s Office. Toxicology analysis is pending, Ables said.
