
Don Raney Obituary, Death – The passing of Don Raney, better known to many as Doc from Doc’s Roadhouse, has brought unfathomable pain to the KSJD family. Doc was beloved by all who knew him. Many people knew Don better by his stage name, Doc, from the bar Doc’s Roadhouse. A considerable portion of Doc’s professional life was spent at the station.
While Don Raney was employed at Doc’s Roadhouse, many of the patrons came to know him better by the moniker “Doc.” In addition to being on the board of directors for the Community Radio Project, he was a DJ at KSJD for more than twenty years, during which time he aired a unique blend of bluegrass, folk, and Americana music. During this period, he also served on the board of directors for the Community Radio Project.
Additionally, he was a member of the board of directors for the Community Radio Project all through this time period. In addition to this, he served the Community Radio Project as a member of its board of directors throughout the entirety of this time period. In addition to this, he was a member of the board of directors of the Community Radio Project during the length of the aforementioned time period.
In addition to that, for the vast majority of the years that have passed since the beginning of those years, he has served as the host of the show Dog House Blues, which airs on Sunday evenings. We would like it to be known to the friends and family of Doc that they have our sincere condolences and that we are going to miss him very much in fact. In addition, we would like it to be known that we are going to miss him very much. In point of fact, we are going to miss him a great deal.
