Denise Askin Obituary, Death – Dr. Denise Askin, a courageous and selfless fighter against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) for her entire life, lost her battle with the disease on June 6 after a protracted and arduous battle against it. Dr. Askin has a background in teaching English and currently serves in the role of Trustee Emerita. She had spent her entire life battling the condition known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). At that point, she had been combating this sickness for a considerable amount of time, and she was losing ground.
As soon as we learned about her leaving, our hearts sank to such a level of despair that they were entirely and utterly broken apart. A remark that was reported to the college’s president, Dr. Joseph Favazza, stated that “No doubt many of you have stories and memories of Denise from the many roles she held.”
On a more personal level, she provided me with an incredible amount of support and assistance during the first few months of my term as President, when I was still getting acclimated to my new role and dealing with some difficult difficulties. During this time, she was there for me when I needed her the most.” During this period, she was there for me when it was most important for me to have her support.
During this time, she was there for me when it was crucial for me to have her support and she did it without hesitation. At the precise moment that I needed her aid the most, she was there for me. I can never give her enough gratitude. If she were to leave our life, there would be a large hole that would have to be filled with attention and effort if it were to be filled at all.
