David Simas Obituary, Death – born to the late Robert and Georgette (Benoit) Simas in LaPlata, Maryland. He was born and raised in West Warwick, and after twenty years of service as a firefighter, he retired with the rank of lieutenant. He co-owned the former D & S Heating with Jackie. He belonged to Club Frontenac and served as its past president. He was also a part of the Rhode Island Raccoon Hunters Association.

In addition to his brother Mark Simas and his wife Carole, David is also survived by his children Amanda Simas of Holyoke, Massachusetts, and Andrew Simas and his wife Kelsey of Chepachet, Rhode Island. His in-laws Jean, Captain, WWPD (Ret.), and Jeanette Tellier, Kevin, WWFD (Ret.), and Allison Tellier, as well as Kathy Tellier and Mary Jane Langlais, are still alive. As well as being adored by Heather and her husband Nate, Hillary and her husband Mitch, Jeff and his wife Leah, Emily, Bret, and Sage, he was also adored by Nolan and Walter as their great uncle.

Stella Lu Simas, David’s granddaughter, too passed away before him. David cherished the time he spent with his family. He frequently spent the summers boating and fishing with the Tellier family at Johnson’s Pond. He enjoyed riding his Harley, but he preferred spending time with his kids and playing the role of Pepere to Kelly.
