David Edmonds Obituary, Death, David Edmonds Has Passed Away

David Edmonds Obituary, Death – He was the kindest of friends, brothers, fathers, and husbands. David Midgley Edmonds and June Cardwell Edmonds (later Lawson), who lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, welcomed Dave into the world on October 8, 1945. He grew up participating in a variety of sports in Salt Lake City’s Glendale neighborhood. He played football and baseball while serving as the student body president at South High School, where he was a standout athlete and leader.

Brothers from the Sigma Chi fraternity and several of his University of Utah teammates have stayed dedicated friends throughout his entire life. He attended the University of Utah on a baseball scholarship and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and an MBA. We regret to inform you of the tragic demise of David Edmonds, the founder and co-owner of Edmonds Aviation. He was very passionate about aviation and the beauty of flight, which was exemplified all around him.

He grew up living in the aviation world as his grandfather and mother breathed it as well. David loved helping out his customers whom he simply referred to as friends, and you would often find him performing acts of kindness when they were in a bind. Jonathan, David’s son and business partner, feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with his father for the past 15 years. We are grateful for everyone’s understanding and kindness during this difficult time after hearing heartwarming stories about David from our clients and friends over the past week.
