David Ambrose Obituary, David Ambrose Has Passed Away

David Ambrose Obituary, Death – On May 28, 2023, David Paul Ambrose, who was 51 years old and from North Platte, Nebraska, passed away at his home. On October 11th, 1971, David Ambrose was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to his parents, Harold and Mathel (Mayo) Ambrose. Dave attended grade school in New Franklin, Missouri. When he was a young boy, he would spend his summers going on hunting and fishing trips with his father as well as assisting his grandparents on the family farm.

The year 1983 marked the beginning of David and his family’s new life on the Pine Ridge in South Dakota. He completed his secondary education at the Sunshine Bible Academy, which is located close to Miller, South Dakota. During his secondary education, he worked on a ranch during the summers. David spent his first year of college in Kansas, and then he attended the School of Minds in South Dakota for his second year of higher education. David first met Wendy Ann Robbins in 1992 when they were both working at a boot repair shop in Rapid City.

They began dating the following year. Dave was not fazed by the fact that Wendy’s father was seated at the table cleaning his shotgun when he picked up Wendy for their first date; he did not allow this to affect him in any way. They had their wedding on May 28th, 1993, and continued to make their home in Rapid City until David graduated from college.

After that, the couple uprooted their lives and relocated to Greeley, Colorado, where he found employment as a well repairman. Dave decided to become a member of the Colorado National Guard. Dave is survived by his wife, Wendy Ambrose, his daughter and son-in-law, Nellie (Zac) Blair, his granddaughter, Annabell, as well as his parents, Harold and Mathel Ambrose, and his brothers, Jonathan (Angie), and Mark Ambrose. In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be sent to either Wendy Ambrose, Sunshine Bible Academy (located at 400 Sunshine Drive, Miller, South Dakota 57362), or Bethel Church Awana in North Platt.
